Beautiful

flashes of stark raving vulnerability
pulse through my plastic view-finder

face in warm sunlight, I see
delicate inter-twists of faith
weave through random frames,
someone touches me and they are

good god, oh, so beautiful

and my bumbling turbulent social intercourse
makes for good-hearted track laughter
all coming

at the expense
of a tender outreach

this bird's existence
is no longer
the ugly butt of a beautiful joke

the click-click of the view-finder's whisper glimpse -

a future glow,
caterpillars and butterflies,
click click

my self
now reaching, making something
beautiful become of

click click

me

Gasping

anchored

fired into earth,
bitterness leaves

knock storms (unleash)
suffocated dreams,
redeemed
unbound and

breathing

Rock - Paper - Scissors

concrete, cool
a shithead
with bits of fool's
gold to chip away at
glitter in my palm
blown easily

into the wind

gift; sloppy ribbon
tells me:  "say thank you."

so fucking sad
to discover

I am inarticulate

sliced in stray
castrated name
isolated, lonely, he smiles
wipes my blood from
the tip of his
sharp edged world

Angels and Angles

Shining but not in that plastic sense
of light hitting the soul at a weird angle
leaving all wings and fluttery things
bouncing through the blue

Sustained incandescence; creation
selfless comfort wrapped tight
inspirited sentry directing inflection
making sure nothing blew

my fires out
she simply stayed
as all angels do

Christmas Eve

Patience waits for Christmas eve,
a Christmas Tree;

Blessed in deep-side willowy,
pondered thoughts on living,
perhaps today, should be

for me,

Thanksgiving.

Frey

stitched
my inhibitions
etched
slide free
un-glue
themselves;
peel away
from me

turned
your baritone
it burns
and sways
unrestrained
carnal soul
coming,

to pray

[vik-tim]

Slam train rails
skim sparks
silent fires ignite

Fostered unkind words
fathered edges
far, unfiltered into deep

whispered < no >

harsh < hush >

unfiltered rant within,
self-loathe sees sparks
settled light tenders flight

< stop >

Ah! Victim!

NO!  a  [vik-tim]  would remain,

No,

I am; NO!

YOU!
you reap what you know
and sow

there goes

your victim
