flashes of stark raving vulnerability
pulse through my plastic view-finder
pulse through my plastic view-finder
face in warm sunlight, I see
delicate inter-twists of faith
weave through random frames,
delicate inter-twists of faith
weave through random frames,
someone touches me and they are
good god, oh, so beautiful
and my bumbling turbulent social intercourse
makes for good-hearted track laughter
all coming
makes for good-hearted track laughter
all coming
at the expense
of a tender outreach
of a tender outreach
this bird's existence
is no longer
the ugly butt of a beautiful joke
is no longer
the ugly butt of a beautiful joke
the click-click of the view-finder's whisper glimpse -
a future glow,
a future glow,
caterpillars and butterflies,
click click
my self
now reaching, making something
beautiful become of
my self
now reaching, making something
beautiful become of
click click
me
the ugly butt of a beautiful joke... now thats a line right there, oh yeah - this, for me, is a true beauty - a pearler of a peach :)

ReplyDeleteJebbi.. what a beautiful way of dragging love from mundane stumbles. I believe it all.. :)
ReplyDeleteThe clicks made this poem for me, especially the final pair clipping "me" saving it for the last line all on its own.
ReplyDeleteThis is so very sweet and tender. I love it!

Soft and the onomatopoeic elements make this poem come to life. Wonderful.
