Angels and Angles

Shining but not in that plastic sense
of light hitting the soul at a weird angle
leaving all wings and fluttery things
bouncing through the blue

Sustained incandescence; creation
selfless comfort wrapped tight
inspirited sentry directing inflection
making sure nothing blew

my fires out
she simply stayed
as all angels do
